Premier Division - Bashley consolidated their position in the play-off places and dented Team Bath's Championship push with a 4-3 home victory while at the other end of the table Mangotsfield United climbed out of the bottom four with a 2-0 home win over fellow strugglers Corby Town but Bedford Town slipped down a place despite gaining a point from a 1-1 draw at Swindon Supermarine. Meanwhile Merthyr Tydfil, despite going in front in the second minute, were left just two points ahead of the drop zone as a result of a 3-1 defeat at Gloucester City.
